Notes
-
Lone Peak is one of the most popular and sought-after summits in the Wasatch front. This route takes you to the top of this 11,000+ foot Wasatch Peak which rises above Salt Lake City. Lone Peak one of the tallest peaks in the area, and is prone to lightning strikes. During the summer months, it is especially important to keep your eye on the weather. Getting an early alpine start for your summit push, and retreating at the first sign of a storm is critical.
